New Changes to Hungary's E-Vignette System for Buses

From April 1st, New Rules Apply

Effective April 1st, buses under 35 tons will be included in the D2 vehicle category under Hungary's e-vignette system. This means that buses will now be subject to the same tolling fees as passenger cars, trailers, and vans.

Purchase Your E-Vignette Online

You can easily purchase your e-vignette online for the Hungarian highways and motorways without the need for registration. Simply choose your vehicle category and fee category (1 day, 10 days, or 1 month) and proceed with the payment.

E-Vignette Requirement for Buses

As of February 1, 2024, buses will continue to be subject to a flat rate tolling system for road use by purchasing an e-vignette. This requirement ensures that buses contribute fairly to the maintenance and upkeep of Hungary's toll roads.
